Many dieters skimp on the amount of meat and dairy products they eat, but in fact it is a good idea to eat plenty of protein when trying to lose weight. Of course it is important that those meals consist of high quality foods, like fruits, vegetables, fiber rich grains and high quality low fat sources of protein.
